Export your Pixelfy.me links, import into Flyn, and update your DNS, all in under 10 minutes
Last updated: April 2026
Pre-Migration Checklist
Complete these steps before starting the migration to ensure a smooth transition.
- 1Export your Pixelfy links NOW if your subscription is near lapsing, data is purged ~90 days after cancellation
- 2Document your custom domain DNS settings (screenshot recommended)
- 3List the retargeting pixels and Amazon links you will rebuild
- 4Ensure your Flyn account is on the right plan for your link volume
- 5Lower your DNS TTL to 60 seconds a day ahead to minimize switch-over time
Step 1: Export from Pixelfy.me
First, export your existing links from Pixelfy.me so you can import them into Flyn.
Log in to Pixelfy.me
Sign in at pixelfy.me. Do this while your subscription is active, Pixelfy disables the dashboard and purges analytics roughly 90 days after a subscription lapses.
Open your links
Go to your links list in the dashboard.
Export to CSV or XLSX
Use the bulk export to download your links. The file includes the short link and destination.
Save the list
Confirm the file has the slug and destination for each link.
Step 2: Import into Flyn
Upload your exported links into Flyn. The import wizard auto-maps columns and preserves your slugs.
Create a Flyn account
Sign up at flyn.to/signup, no credit card required. Free accounts can import up to 25 links.
Go to Dashboard > Import
Open the Flyn dashboard and click Import in the top navigation.
Upload your Pixelfy export
Drag and drop the CSV. Flyn maps the destination and slug columns automatically.
Review and confirm
Preview the links and click Import All. Flyn keeps your slugs and destinations, and your links never expire or get purged.
Step 3: Domain & DNS Migration
Point your custom domain to Flyn so existing short links keep working seamlessly.
Find your current DNS record
In your registrar, locate the CNAME for your branded short domain used with Pixelfy.
Update the CNAME target
Point the CNAME to link.flyn.to, replacing the Pixelfy target.
Add your domain in Flyn
In Flyn go to Settings > Domains > Add Domain, enter your domain, and click Verify.
Wait for DNS propagation
Usually 5-30 minutes. Flyn shows a green checkmark once verified.
DNS Record Summary
| Field | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Type | CNAME | CNAME |
| Host | go (or your subdomain) | go (no change) |
| Target | pixelfy.me | link.flyn.to |
What Transfers
Here is what carries over from Pixelfy.me to Flyn and what needs to be reconfigured.
| Item | Transfers | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Destination URLs | All destinations are preserved | |
| Custom slugs | Your slugs carry over | |
| Custom domains | Update the CNAME to link.flyn.to | |
| Retargeting pixels | Recreate | Configs do not auto-transfer, but Flyn Pro natively fires retargeting pixels on links (Meta, Google, TikTok + 9 more), so re-add them in Flyn |
| Amazon Super URLs | Pixelfy-specific, rebuild manually if you still need add-to-cart links | |
| Click analytics | History stays in Pixelfy and is purged ~90 days after cancellation, so export early | |
| QR codes | Regenerate | Regenerate free in Flyn |
Post-Migration Verification

- Confirm your custom domain shows a green checkmark in Flyn
- Check that new clicks appear in Flyn analytics
- Set up UTM-based retargeting audiences in your ad platform
- Regenerate any QR codes you need
- Keep your Pixelfy account active for 30 days as a safety net
Troubleshooting
Common issues and how to resolve them.
Links return 404 after migration
Allow up to 30 minutes for DNS. Verify the CNAME points to link.flyn.to and clear your cache.
My Pixelfy dashboard is locked
Pixelfy disables dashboard access when a subscription lapses. If you can still log in, export immediately. If not, recreate links from any records you kept, then import into Flyn where links never get purged.
Retargeting pixels are gone
Re-add your retargeting pixels in Flyn Pro (Meta, Google, TikTok + 9 more) and attach them to your links. Prefer cookieless? Use the UTM builder to build audiences from tagged traffic.
Amazon Super URLs do not work
Amazon add-to-cart and Super URLs are a Pixelfy feature. Rebuild those specific links manually if you still need them, everything else imports normally.
Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take to migrate from Pixelfy.me to Flyn?
Most migrations take 5-10 minutes plus DNS propagation for a custom domain (5-30 minutes).
Will I lose my data if my Pixelfy subscription lapses?
Pixelfy disables the dashboard and purges analytics roughly 90 days after a subscription lapses. Export your links while your account is active. In Flyn, your links and data stay on the free plan, even if you cancel Pro.
Do my retargeting pixels transfer?
The pixel configs do not carry over in the import, but Flyn Pro natively supports retargeting pixels on links (Meta, Google, TikTok + 9 more), so just re-add them in Flyn. Prefer cookieless? Use the built-in UTM builder to build audiences from tagged traffic.
Can I move my Amazon Super URLs?
Amazon Super URLs are Pixelfy-specific and are not part of a standard link import. Your branded short links, slugs, and domains migrate normally.
Is Flyn cheaper than Pixelfy.me?
Yes. Flyn Pro is a flat $9 per month for unlimited links and clicks with a free plan. Pixelfy has no free plan and tiers run $9.99 to $99.99 per month, each capped by monthly clicks.
Is there a limit on how many links I can import?
Free accounts can import up to 25 links. Flyn Pro supports unlimited imports.
