A/B testing on Flyn lets a single short link route clicks across 2 to 12 different destination URLs. You type a whole-number weight for each one, Flyn shows the share that weighting produces and rolls incoming clicks against it, and each destination's click count shows up side by side in your analytics. You keep one link in the wild while you find out which page actually earns the traffic.
How it works
Up and running in minutes
Add your destinations
Start with your main URL, then add a second to test it against. You can go up to 12 in total behind the same short link, so anything you have already shared keeps working while the test runs.
Choose the traffic split
Type a whole-number weight for each destination, anywhere from 0 to 999, and Flyn shows the share it produces: a cautious 90/10, an even 50/50, or anything finer.
Let clicks distribute
Every click that no routing rule has already claimed is an independent weighted draw, with no cookie and no stored visitor assignment. Bots and crawlers always get your primary destination, and if the link also uses smart routing, a matching country or device rule decides that click before the split ever sees it. Visitors land on a real page instantly, with no interstitial and no sign the link is being tested.
Compare and adjust live
The link's analytics page reports each destination's clicks, the share it actually took, and the share your weighting intended. Change the weights whenever you want, or set one to 0 to pause a page without losing its history.
Why it matters
What you get
A split you control
Send one short link to 2 to 12 destinations with a weight you type for each, and read the result on the link's analytics page: each destination's clicks, its actual share, and the share your weighting intended. A head-to-head test and a wider rotation are the same editor, so two is a choice, not a ceiling.
Weights you type per destination
Give each page a whole number from 0 to 999, so any divide works, 1 to 99 or finer. Start heavily weighted toward your proven page and ease traffic toward the challenger as confidence grows.
See which page earns the clicks
Run your current landing page against a new version and let real clicks settle the debate. Flyn reports what each destination earned; you read it and decide which page to keep.
Test without minting new links
Every destination sits behind the same short link, so you never have to swap URLs in a post, a bio, a QR code, or a printed campaign to run a test.
Performance in your analytics
Each destination's clicks land in the Destination Performance panel on the link's own page, with the link's geo, city, device, OS, browser, and referrer breakdowns sitting right below it. Those breakdowns describe the link as a whole rather than one destination at a time.
Change the split on the fly
Adjust the weights while the test is running, or set one to 0 to pause a page without losing its history. As soon as one destination pulls ahead, move traffic toward it without replacing the link.

Frequently asked questions
How many destinations can I test at once?
Up to 12, including your main destination URL. Two keeps a head-to-head easy to read, which is why this is called A/B testing, but it is the same editor and the same mechanism all the way to 12, where it is usually called weighted rotation. Either way the link's analytics page reports clicks and share per destination.
Can I control how the traffic is divided?
Yes. You type a whole-number weight from 0 to 999 for each destination and Flyn shows the share it produces. Give them all the same number for an even split, or 80 and 20 to protect a proven page while a challenger earns its share. You can change the weights at any time, and a weight of 0 pauses a page without deleting it.
Do I need to create a new link to run a test?
No. Every destination lives behind a single short link. Anything you have already shared, including QR codes, posts, and printed material, keeps working while the test runs. When you have seen enough, set the losing weights to 0 or point the link at the page you picked, with no URL change anywhere you published it.
Where do I see how each page is doing?
The link's analytics page has a Destination Performance panel listing every destination with its click count, the share it actually took, and the share your weighting intended. Flyn does not declare a winner or run a significance test; it reports the clicks and you draw the conclusion. On Pro the same page also carries geo, city, device, OS, browser, and referrer breakdowns for the link as a whole, though not split out per destination.
Can I compare the two pages on signups and sales, not just clicks?
Not inside a single split. The A/B test reports clicks per variant, which tells you how the traffic divided and how each page held up. Flyn's separate conversion tracking feature (Pro) records signups and sales against a link, not against a variant inside it, so one link running a split reports a single combined conversion count. When the outcome matters more than the click, give each page its own tracked link, run them in separate placements, and compare conversions, conversion rate, and value link by link.
Will visitors know they are in a test?
No. Each click routes straight to a real destination with no interstitial page or redirect notice. The experience is identical to any other short link, so the test stays invisible to your audience.
Is A/B testing available on the free plan?
A/B testing is a Pro feature. Pro is 9 dollars per month billed annually (or 12 dollars monthly), with a 249 dollar lifetime option, and it also unlocks smart routing, link cloaking, password protection, retargeting pixels, deep links, and advanced analytics.
