Most link shorteners pay for their analytics with your visitors' privacy: ad pixels, cross-site cookies, stored IP addresses. Flyn takes the opposite approach. Clicker IP addresses are used once for an approximate country-and-city lookup and then discarded, Flyn's own tracking uses no third-party advertising cookies, and everything runs encrypted (TLS 1.3 in transit, AES-256 at rest) on infrastructure in SOC 2 compliant data centers. You still get the analytics that matter, without the compliance headache that usually comes with them.

Is Flyn a GDPR-compliant URL shortener?
Yes. Do you store the IP addresses of people who click my links?
No. When someone clicks, their IP is used once to look up an approximate country and city, then discarded. It is never written to the analytics database, so you get location insight without keeping a log of raw IP addresses that you would have to secure, disclose, or delete.
What analytics do I still get if you are this privacy-focused?
Everything that matters for marketing: total and unique clicks, approximate country and city, device type, operating system, browser, and referrer, all bot-filtered so the numbers reflect real people. You lose invasive profiling, not useful data.
Can I get a signed Data Processing Agreement (DPA)?

How long do you keep my link data, and can I delete it?
